罗斯-保尔特球场坐落于植被茂密的壮观峡谷地带，改造设计的理念是创造出更多的冒险/奖赏式球洞，使其成为一座尤其适合于"逐洞赛"赛制的球场，球场总体给人一种融于自然之感，即使有大量的沙坑分佈，但通过过渡型沙坑与周边原生地貌衔接，营造出与周边的茂密植被和高耸山峦相辅相成的环境。
