Jade Palace Golf Club

Designed by Harley Kruse of the Greg Norman Design Team, the Jade Palace Golf Course was created exclusively for the Hanwha Group. Located adjacent to Chuncheonchonjo, the golf course's knotweed fairways are laid out on hilly terrain in order to conserve the relatively flat areas of the valley for farming. Due to the hilly terrain, the construction of the course took several years to complete, during which the engineering team dug away a total of four and a half million cubic metres of rock and soil in order to make the terrain suitable for playing, which is evident of the amount of work that went into the construction of the course.

The opening hole is a par 4, the right side of the fairway bunkers are dense, want to go to the green in 2 shots, need to use a good strategy to work out. 8 hole is a more characteristic par 4 in the front 9 holes, the fairway through the local pine oak forests, in this place to play a special flavour. On the back 9, the par 5 10th and 13th are more challenging, while the par 3 14th is scenic and lush, with the green nestled behind a pond and backed by a huge rock platform. The Jade Palace Clubhouse Centre sits atop the rocky terrace.
