Nangoku Country Club

The 18 holes golf course was located in mountain, golfers can take a good view of Sakurajima, Kimonwa the symbol of Kagoshima. The course combined traditions and histories was designed by Kumeta, and opened in 1959. The course design was to induce strategical games, beginners and professional golfer will enjoy the pleasure of power swing and all stroke. Front nine was modified and improved by widen fairways, however the difficulty had been lower due to the modification. No.16 par 3 hole was famous because golfers will tee while stand 250 meter above ground and enjoy the ball on down-slope opening. Golfers can also enjoy the hot spring came from 850 meters beneath ground after the games.
