Course Introduction
Temuka is 140km south of Christchurch and a gateway to the South Island lakes district and to Oamaru, Queenstown and Dunedin. The Temuka Golf Club is on Domain Avenue on the right past the Temuka Domain.
The Temuka Golf Club offers a tidy parkland course that whilst not overly long, which many see as an advantage, provides an interesting challenge for all players due to a number of interesting dog leg holes and the necessity to be accurate off the tee
The Temuka Golf Club course is known for its colour at flowering and foliage colour in spring and autumn. Fairways, tees and greens are under irrigation which is controlled by an automated computer system and the course is well maintained with a modern fleet of mowers, all with groomers. The clubhouse offers great views of the middle 8 holes of the course The club has a number of membership options and has an active 9 Hole Club. The club welcomes new members. You can go to the About the Club page on the website for info about the club. The club has modest greens fee charges and has 6 motorised carts for hire – booking essential.
Visitors are welcome for play at their leisure or in club competitions.
The Course is available most times although players will have to give way to greens staff when mowing is undertaken.
