Sapporo Bay Golf Club

The course is built on marshland and farmland sandwiched between the main stream and tributaries of the Ishikari River, with ponds separating the flat fairways. Nearly 20% of the course area is covered by water, creating significant pressure despite the absence of bold water crossings. The fairways feature gentle undulations, and the presence of mounds adds variety. The greens, in terms of size and shape, offer a finish distinct from the typical Pete Dye design.
