Takamori Country Club

A massive hilly course through beautiful forests, with a backdrop of the Central Alps and designed to take advantage of the natural slopes, the course has subtle variations in where the ball lands, and if you don't pay attention to these variations, you're likely to miss the ball a lot. The 7th hole is a short par 4 that crosses a river and a lake; the 18th hole is a long par 4 that crosses a lake. Of the flatter holes, the 14th, 15th, 17th and 18th are also associated with lakes, and overcoming these obstacles is the key to scoring.
