Course Introduction

Wen chang City, lying in the northeast of Hainan Province, is the hometown of over 3 million overseas Chinese. Its subtropical location has a delightful climate with adequate sunshine and spring all year round that makes it an excellent place for golf, relaxation and holiday. Hainan Wenchang Golf Club is about 50 minutes from Haikou City and 35 minutes from Haikou Airport. The golf course was designed by Malaysian designer Albert Chua. It is a par72,18-hole USGA standard championship golf course. It covers a land area of more than 2000 mu. The golf course has 14lakes,77big sand bunker, manicured undulating fairways and an island green. Teeing off requires accuracy rather than distance. Big long bunkers, mound on and around the fairways and greens will prompt you to try that tricky chip shot. A bad tee off or a bad approach may leave you with a double bogey or more. The club house has 41 standard rooms with lake or golf course view, Chinese cuisines, coffee lounge, lobby bar, outdoor terrace, business center pro-shop and a 16-bay driving range.
