Course Introduction
About 40 minutes drive from Shimonoseki City, a beautiful links course was built in July 1956 by cleverly utilising the natural pine forest in the land of white sand and green pines. Since its opening, the pine forest has grown over the years into a huge pine tree, giving the impression of a gigantic mountain peak, while the sea breeze blowing from the clearly visible deep blue sea embraces you and the carpeted lawn makes your feet feel comfortable.
To harmonise with and express the richness of the beautiful nature, the clubhouse boasts a large roof made of pine wood, sand-coloured walls with a beautiful white beach texture, and a cedar-slab concrete structure that expresses a natural roughness. The massive pine roof is not ostentatious, but wraps around the entire clubhouse with a rugged yet elegant look, just as the blue sea reflects the blue sky, and the metal embedded in the roof reflects the beautiful light of the course. Golfers are invited to come inside and experience the richness of nature.
The views and the ingenious layout of each hole are unforgettable for Baco golfers.
