Course Introduction

Situated on its own island with uninterrupted views of the Whitsundays, Hamilton Island Golf Club is one of the finest golf courses in the world. Dent Island was the perfect location for the golf course, with stunning changes in fairway elevation offering 360 degree views of the surrounding Whitsundays, and with its elevated perspective the course offers truly magnificent views of the Whitsundays.

The four par 3s are the real highlights here, two of which deserve further comment. The exposed green on the 4th hole is framed by a rocky outcrop to the right of the target with Long Island in the distance as a backdrop, and the 165-yard 14th hole sits on a raised green that is bunkered on three sides, leaving a small hole on the left for the faint-hearted.

The clubhouse, with its spacious dining room, delicious food and incredible views, is the perfect place to enjoy a hearty lunch or a few refreshing drinks after your round.
