Course Introduction
Located between Maroochydore and Noosa on Queensland's Sunshine Coast, the course first opened in 1988. Robert Trent Jones Jnr was responsible for the design of the resort course, one of only five layouts he has worked on in Australia.
Palmer Curran has hosted the Australian PGA Championship since 2002.
Noteworthy are the two par 3s, one on each nine. The 171-yard 6th hole is situated in front of the left side of the green, protected by a bunker and surrounded by dense bush with Mt. Cullen in the background. The 205-yard 14th hole is in front of the green, with water running diagonally from right to left, and is backed by a large bunker that catches the ball.
