Noosa Springs Golf and Spa Resort

Set on the beautiful Sunshine Coast at Noosa Point, the course is cleverly designed and meticulously maintained to provide a pleasurable challenge for golfers of all ages and levels.

The front nine is narrow and long, with plenty of water to consider - although there are signs on the tees indicating the yardage of these hazards, which is a good design - but golfers who are not willing to sacrifice distance for accuracy may find their scorecard showing some big numbers. The 6th is a simple 356 metre par four, but the tee shot needs to be placed near a trap on the right side of the fairway to allow for an attack along the length of the green, which drops sharply to the side and back. At 415 metres and often into the wind, the 7th is a No. 1, and it makes sense for anyone but a zero handicap golfer to play it as a short par 5, which reduces the risk of finding a long run down the right side and along the entire length of the hole.

On to the back nine, the 14th is only a 329 metre par four, but the uphill climb to a blind putting area and the many traps to be navigated around make it the fourth most difficult hole on the course.
