Course Introduction
Beacon Hills is a 27-hole course divided into the Old Course, Lake Course and Cardinia Course.
Originally designed by Dick Banks and Rory Banks in 1930, highlights of the Old Course include dramatic rolling terrain in a natural bush setting with kangaroos as eager spectators. The greens are beautifully constructed and moderately sloped, making them a challenge for any golfer.
The Lakes Course consists of the first 9 holes of the Old Course and the 9 holes of the Lakes, designed around a natural dam with Stoney Creek running through the course. The course features some of the most beautiful golf holes in Beacon Hills, including the iconic 22nd hole.
The Cardinia Course combines the back 9 holes of the Old Course with the 9 holes of the Lake District. The course runs along Red Hill Road and Cardinia Reservoir. It is not uncommon to see emus over the fence on holes 17 and 18. The first 4 holes are amongst the most challenging on the course and once conquered they are a great place to play!
