Course Introduction
The Club is a golfer's dream destination, offering a comprehensive range of facilities. With two championship standard golf courses, four state-of-the-art golf simulators and its own Australian PGA Tour events, it is truly a golfer's paradise.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served seven days a week, as well as a variety of dinner options. Whether you're looking for a delicious bistro meal, a casual snack or a classic barbecue, the bistro menu offers all the favourite dishes and seasonal specialities.
Built amongst large groves of red gums and other native plants and trees, the Old Course has stood the test of time since it first opened in 1928 and was expanded to 18 holes in 1955. Although not long by modern standards, the narrow fairways and well placed hazards make it a favourite with visitors and locals alike. Golf Australia magazine and golf course guides have both named the Old Course as one of Australia's top 100 courses, and it's obvious why. The signature hole of the Old Course is the 333 metre 18th, which features a semi-blind tee shot that requires right-to-left manoeuvring. The approach shot is hit upwards and is surrounded by several large bunkers protecting the elevated green, which is located in front of our new golf course for all to see.
The newer West Course is slightly longer than the old course, with wider fairways and larger, sloping greens. With an abundance of native flora and fauna, you will feel as if you are playing in a native reserve. Unlike the Old Course, the West Course has a number of water hazards, the most daunting of which is the 180 metre par 3 16th hole. Over the years, water has flowed across the width of the fairway, caressing the right side and victimising many a golfer.
