The GARDEN COURSE, originally designed by Thomson, Wolveridge, Fream & assoc. in 1984 was later renovated by Max Wexler in 1990. It was again redesigned by Phil Jacobs in 2004 and the original 6,383 metres layout was stretched to 6721 metres. The new Garden Course retained its unique touch with matured trees, multi-hued shrubs and a variety of tropical foliage and lakes.
The TAMPINES COURSE was originally designed by Max Wexler and launched in 1988 as the first "buggy-only" course in the region and features rolling hills and large tee-boxes and greens. The "West Course" as Tampines was originally referred to, has auguably a wider array of vegetation and wildlife than the Garden Course.
