The Shan-Shui Golf & Country Club in Tawau, Sabah is a Nelson & Haworth designed, 18 hole, par 72 golf course.During an award ceremony in 2001, Nelson & Haworth won 4 awards for this course, which is proudly trumpeted until this day and included Best Course in Asia, Best Course in Malaysia, Best Par 4 in Asia (15th hole) and Best Par 5 in Asia (5th hole).Natural surroundings provide a backdrop to the Shan-Shui Golf & Country Club’s course, and while you battle with the tricky greens, you might encounter numerous exotic birds, squirrels, monkeys and even a resident crocodile in one of the water hazards.
