Sawang Resort Golf Club

Savang Resort and Golf Club is situated in the neighbouring province of Petchaburi, an hour from Hua Hin. The course is set away from the busy courses of the city and this is evident in the tranquillity and serenity of the course. Nestled amongst rice paddies and orchards, the course is surrounded by beautiful surroundings, with unforgettable views of the Phetchburi Hills and large lakes.

The 27-hole layout looks as if it is a mix of water and trees. Overall the course is very comfortable to play and the fairways are wide enough to appeal to golfers of all levels. Tree-lined fairways, huge lakes and smooth greens truly create a golfing paradise that will test a golfer's imagination and skill. The par 5 2nd hole is one of the most prominent of the original 18 holes. At 535 yards, it is not particularly long, and with water running down the left side of the fairway, care must be taken not to miss the ball. The 3rd hole is another great test of accuracy, a test of both direction and distance control. The dogleg right at nearly 90º requires a precise tee shot to get a good view of the green on the approach shot.

The facilities on the course are modest but more than adequate and are kept in good condition throughout the year.
