Course Introduction
The design of this golf course fully utilizes the natural beauty of the former hunting grounds of the Owari Tokugawa family and is considered one of Seiichi Inoue's masterpieces. Located within Nagoya city, this vibrant 18-hole course is separated by pine forests and ponds, featuring a curved green and a par 74 layout. The front nine holes, with their wide and long fairways, often lead to overhitting. There are fewer bunkers and no other obstacles, but the fairways have some undulation. Although the course might appear simple, it’s easy to end up with less-than-ideal scores. The back nine holes feature more elevation changes, and the fairways are narrower compared to the front nine, making shot direction control crucial. Overall, the greens are relatively large, making it easy to reach the green, but three-putting is also a common occurrence.
