Red Mountain Golf Club

A most challenging course, Red Mountain is surely the most exciting course in Asia. The course has been skillfully adapted to take advantage of the wide variety of landforms and dazzling changes in elevation. The designer, Jonathan Mark Morrow, has created a highly strategic and challenging course. The cliffs and tin mine address features have been imaginatively combined to create a course with unique views. Although undoubtedly a challenging course, the many risk and reward options create a fun playing environment, an exhilarating test of golf and a stunning scenic tour of what is destined to become an iconic area of golf.

Red Mountain is more than just a great golf course. Stunning tropical tree, flower and shrub gardens showcase some of the most beautiful and vibrant flora in the area, attracting Phuket's colorful butterflies and birds. Bird trails introduce birdwatchers to some of the region's most spectacular and unique birds. The legacy left by man in the tin mines is a unique landscape of nature's magical renewal and rejuvenation and a magnificent original canvas for our course. Rare and beautiful plants and wildlife; exotic ferns and wild orchids, Indian rhododendrons and hogweed thrive in the ancient mining landscape. Golfers will enjoy one of Phuket's stunning primary forests, where ancient trees reach up to the clouds and exotic and wonderful wildlife create the piercing sounds of the tropical jungle. Known locally as Phuket's most challenging course and often voted one of the best courses in Thailand, the course has been carved out of rugged rocky terrain left over from the ancient tin-mining era, and is both scenic and a truly unique challenge.
