Course Introduction

The award-winning Mackay Golf Club, located in Mackay, North Queensland, is known as the ‘Pearl of the North’.

The Mackay Golf Club's driving range has been in existence for more than a decade, however, the club has recently taken over ownership and operational responsibilities and has ambitious plans that are already underway.

The driving range has 15 bays and a miniature golf course and the vision of General Manager David Roche is to enable as many people as possible to play golf in all its forms.

With the golf club and driving range previously operating separately, Roche is now keen to build strong relationships and hopes to develop new golfers through the mini-golf and driving range, eventually enabling them to play on the course.
