Course Introduction
The premier golf destination, nestled in the foothills of the Carindale Hills, just 15 minutes from the Brisbane CBD and 10 minutes from Brisbane Airport.
Pacific Golf Club was established in 1937 and moved from its original location in Upper Mount Gravatt to its current location in Carindale in 1964. Brymba Creek meanders through the course, its sparkling waters coming into play at several holes.
The 110-acre course measures 6,255 metres from the back markers, has a par 72 (36 outside, 36 inside), and is designed as two 9-hole loops, each ending with a challenging par 5. The course also features ponds on several holes, most notably holes 5 to 7 on the front nine and holes 13 and 16 on the back nine.
Highlights include the dogleg right par 4 5th (par rating 1, with an irrigation pond in front of the green) in the south-east corner of the course, and the triangular par 4 sequence from the 14th to the 16th, where birdie is difficult on the first two holes, but there may be a chance for birdie on the final hole.
