Course Introduction
The picturesque club is nestled in the foothills of the mountains, about twenty-five minutes from Midland (via the Great Northern Highway) or Wanneroo (via Nevis Road). The challenging 18-hole course is surrounded by natural bush, eucalyptus, mountain lobelia, grass trees and colourful wildlife.
Established in Bursbrook in 1962, the course moved to its current location off Sounness Drive in 1966. Located just 3km north of Bursbrook city centre.
In 2017, the club underwent several major renovations. The existing irrigation system was upgraded and an automatic irrigation system was installed on all fairways, now providing golfers with extensive grass coverage from tee to green. The course is unique in its green types. The slightly elevated salt greens are a far cry from the traditional bentgrass greens. The course layout offers golfers long holes, short holes, and a variety of doglegs to keep Baco golfers on their toes.
