Maraenui Golf Club

The club is located near Napier Esplanade, just 5 minutes from Napier City and 15 minutes from Hastings. Surrounded by trees and beautiful scenery, with summer sunshine shining in the gentle sea breeze, players will enjoy swinging on this 6,125-meter long 18-hole picturesque golf course. The course is flat, with beautifully shaped fairways, tree-lined, and creatively designed greens and bunkers, suitable for golfers of all levels.

The greens are planted with bluegrass and browntop grass, and are generally flat with a slight slope. The average speed is maintained between 8 and 10 feet. The course's earthen greens are gradually sanded during the hole. The fairways are designed with contour lines, with a slope between 14 and 20 mm. The slope of the tee is between 12 and 15 mm. The rough area is always at a suitable height for playing, there are not many penalty areas, and there is an intermediate slope near the fairway. The bunkers are filled with Perrys 2000 fine grain sand.
