Sherwood Park Golf Club

This picturesque course is only 7 km from Whangarei and is set in beautiful native woodland, surrounded by natural stone walls and native birds and animals. The course is mainly flat but challenging, and is a great test for golfers of all abilities. The well-drained volcanic soil ensures that golfers can play in suitable weather almost all year round. The sprinkler system on the fairways also ensures that the fairways are optimal during the driest summer months.

The clubhouse has comfortable seating and can be accessed from the top car park or from a wide staircase on the ground floor. The office, tee room, main toilet and cart room are all located on the ground floor. The lounge has a wide view of the course, including the driving range, the tee box and fairway of the first hole, and the fairways and greens of the 9th and 18th holes. The lounge also provides comfortable air conditioning, which is a great place to relax whether it is hot in summer or cold days and evenings.
