Course Introduction

Located on the scenic Best Island of Waimea Bay, Greenacres Golf Course offers stunning parkland views and breathtaking water views. This exceptional course is suitable for both competitive and social players of all levels and is considered one of the most challenging courses in the Upper South Island.

The hole layout is two consecutive nines, with the second half being nearly 300 yards longer than the first, thanks in large part to the back-to-back par 5s of the 15th (“Ridgeway”) and 16th (“Piggadilly”), which run parallel in opposite directions.

Highlight holes include the par-1, dogleg left par-4 9th (“The Gully”), which shares a green with the 18th hole in front of the clubhouse, and the 143-meter 17th (“Wee Willie”), the shortest of the par-3 holes, with birdie potential possible by avoiding two bunkers on the right side of the green.
