Ballarat Golf Club

This 18-hole course was completely redesigned by renowned course architect Thomson Perrett, with a multi-million dollar reconstruction of the clubhouse and golf course. The new course incorporates portions of the existing grounds, preserving the rich history of both the clubhouse and the grounds. The newly designed layout offers an exceptional experience for golfers of all levels, unrivaled in the region.

The course, situated on approximately 56 hectares, encompasses an 18-hole championship course with strategically placed members' and ladies' tees, ensuring enjoyment for players of all abilities. Flat farmland has been transformed into a captivating, rolling golf course, interspersed with a series of creeks, wetlands, and extensive waterways, interspersed with native and exotic vegetation.

The club was ranked 67th in the 2021 Golf Australia list of Australia's Top 100 Public Courses. It was also ranked 59th in the 2022 Golf Australia Course Guide.
