Thurgoona Country Club Resort

Segoona is a suburb of Albury, across the Murray River from its Victorian sister town of Wodonga. The resort is just a 10-minute drive from Albury's central business district, a three-hour drive from Melbourne, and a 60-minute flight from Sydney. The Rutherglen wine region is just a half-hour drive away, allowing golfers to spend the morning on the greens and the afternoon savoring the grapes.

Segoona boasts a championship-standard layout, 6,372 meters from the back marker, with tree-lined Santa Ana bench fairways and curved turf greens. The holes are arranged around a unique star-shaped course, covering 170 acres. The clubhouse is located near the Eight Mile Creek Center Dam. Featured holes include the two par 3s on the front nine (the 177m 2nd and 169m 6th, both with sand protecting the front left of the green); the 173m 16th, with water on the right side of the hole; and the 384m 18th, where a creek crosses the fairway 60m in front of the main green, entering the playing surface.
