Most mountain golf courses are narrow and short, but Alpensia Country Club is situated in a basin, boasting 1.88 million square meters of flat, deep terrain and wide fairways. Furthermore, the course design balances spaciousness, length, and dynamism, making it an ideal venue for PGA Tour events.

The club's course design aims to preserve the natural terrain as much as possible. The Forest Course offers refreshing breezes through the woodlands; the Lake Course boasts breathtaking lake views; and the Grass Course evokes the meadows of Scotland.
