Caddies tip refers to the extra fee given to caddies for assisting in carrying clubs, providing playing advice, marking the location of balls, and other auxiliary services when playing golf on a golf course. Paying caddies tips is a courtesy and recognition of the caddies' work. Each region has a different tipping culture. Let's take a look at it with BaiGolf.

During the game, even if there is a caddy, because it is a 1 to 4 service, we hope that everyone will try their best to consciously level the sand traps, repair the marks on the greens, and take the initiative to choose to take the club. The first person to hole out on the green will help the caddy to hold the flagstick, and the same applies to players in the staff competition.

There is no hard and fast rule to tip caddies in Japan, but out of courtesy, you can buy drinks or snacks for the caddies at a tea shop while playing golf, or buy a small gift certificate as a token of your appreciation.
