Summit Green Valley Chiangmai Country Club, 18-hole golf course, is located 30 minutes north of Chiang Mai City. You can play at night.

Designed by Thai Country, Dynasty, Chatrium Soi Dao and Denis Griffith. The clubhouse is clean, spacious and bright, and although it feels a bit old, it is impressive. The shop is also large and well stocked. The terrace before teeing off is very beautiful and relaxing.

The course is a championship course and has hosted championships! The course is generally spacious and suitable for amateurs, which is a plus. In my impression, as long as the fairway is slightly curved, I can usually hit the ball out by myself. The fairway has some undulations, but there are almost no major slopes or undulations, so intermediate and above players can enjoy the fun of the course.

Although the course is wide and flat, it is not a monotonous, wide and boring layout. There are dangers at key points and holes, and sometimes you need to use your brain when playing. It is also nice to see that on those holes where it is difficult to aim, there are orange wooden boards on the tee to help you find the right hitting point. There is no clearer advice than this, and you can swing with confidence. I hope that courses in Bangkok can also learn from this practice.

Hole 6: A par 3 hole with the clubhouse on the right and a lake and a large bunker on the left. If the club is on the right, it is very difficult.

Hole 9: The staff explained that this is the signature hole of the course, but to be honest, it is a straight par 4 hole with the name of the course on the bridge. It is also written on the tee that this is a signature hole, but the scorecard says it is the 18th hole.

13: A dogleg hole at a right angle to the left. If you hit a perfect shot towards the yellow sign in front, the second shot after turning left is uphill and hit towards the beautiful peak in front. This hole is long, so it is recommended to play it on a safe golf course, control it within bogey, and don't hit it too hard.

Hole 18: A slightly S-shaped par 5, suitable for the last hole, tee shot to the yellow sign slightly to the right, second shot to the left fairway, avoiding the water, and finally attacking the green surrounded by bunkers and water just in front of the clubhouse. This is a fun hole, as long as you play carefully, you can make a birdie or par. The scorecard says that this is a signature hole.

From the perspective of overall balance, this golf course is stress-free and enjoyable for both novice and amateur golfers. Even in the rainy season, the fairways are not muddy and the greens are not slow.
