Today, BaiGolf introduces Subhapruek Golf Club in Subhapruek, Thailand. It opened in 1993. The course was designed by Pete Dye, who has designed many golf courses in Japan. The course is flat, which is a typical Thai terrain, but there are many water hazards and high-chin bunkers in many holes, which are effectively intertwined, making the course very strategic.

It is very convenient to get to this golf course from downtown Bangkok, the course is in good condition, and it is cost-effective. Although there are rumors of closure, the course is well maintained and attracts many Japanese and Thai golfers.

Course Features

There are a lot of pond obstacles in the course. There are fewer OB areas, but the trees grow lushly, so it is difficult to make up for the score if you hit a curve ball. The fairway is relatively flat. The bunkers have high chins and there are many lakes, so the whole course is very strategic and challenging.

This course is average in difficulty among Thai golf courses and is recommended for beginners. The course is well maintained and in excellent condition. Golf carts are allowed on the fairways.

Even from the regular white tees, the course is over 6,000 yards long and feels longer than the numbers indicate. The course is challenging enough.

Clubhouse

The clubhouse was renovated a few years ago and has a very high-end feel, a first-class clubhouse.

The food here is of a high standard and will not disappoint.

Locker room

The lockers are also very classy and the water pressure in the shower is very high, which I personally rate very highly. The course is not only suitable as a driving range, but also for entertaining guests.
