This Ross Watson-designed course is full of challenge and drama. Its exceptional quality has earned it numerous recognition as one of Asia's Top 100 golf courses.

Its prestigious status is evident in its hosting of professional tournaments: from 1998 to 2002 and again in 2004, it hosted the Volvo Masters Asian Tour tournament; in 2007, it hosted the World Cup Qualifying Tournament; and the following year, it became the stage for the European Tour-sanctioned Malaysia Open. These achievements have earned the course numerous awards, including the "Malaysia's No. 1 Course" and "Most Beautiful Course" titles from Malaysia Golf magazine. Furthermore, it was voted the best course by Golf Malaysia readers and received the Asia Platinum Award for outstanding hospitality in 2008.

It is a comfortable 50-minute drive from downtown Kuala Lumpur. The course enjoys a convenient location, relatively close to the city center.

The course's strategic and inclusive design offers a challenge for golfers of all abilities. The layout, harmoniously integrated with nature, offers a constant backdrop of wildlife and lush forests. The 6,396-meter course features a crisscross of straightaways and doglegs, with strategically placed water hazards and bunkers creating a tantalizing experience. The Japanese grass fairways and undulating Bermuda greens are kept in top-quality condition, ensuring a return to the course.

The course is renowned for its consistently excellent greens, which are consistently kept in top condition. The well-drained silica sand soil ensures quick play even during Malaysia's frequent rain showers.

The Salam area, where the course is located, is home to numerous Japanese factories, attracting many Japanese golfers.

Each hole is unique. Despite its short 18 holes, the course's design is captivating, making it a must-visit and a must-try! Hole 2 is the most popular. A water hazard on the left side of the fairway runs across the front of the green, demanding precision from both the first and second shots. Due to the hidden bunkers, precise approach shots to the green are essential to avoid them.

The 408-meter par-4 15th hole features bunkers and an out-of-bounds area on the right side, and is framed by a pond on the left, challenging players to hit long, precise shots. The final hole, the 517-meter par-5, is a stunning 18th. From the elevated tee, you can overlook the magnificent course, including the clubhouse. The strategically placed bunkers and every hazard leading to the green present a formidable challenge, worthy of a final hole.

The course has a strict dress code. In addition to golf shoes, each player must bring their own golf bag, clubs, and putter. One bag per player is allowed. Men are requested to tuck in their shirts and fasten their belts. Some courses prohibit revealing clothing for women due to religious reasons, so please be sure to observe the dress code.

Caddy tips are MYR 70+. Caddies are generally assigned to two-person teams. You must bring your caddy with you when leaving the course; self-service is not permitted. The minimum booking size for weekdays and holidays is 3 people. We do not accept groups of two, nor will we accept bookings for 3 people.
