Opened in 1989, this 27-hole golf course, located in Putrajaya, Kuala Lumpur's emerging district, offers a variety of golf courses for all levels. Rated the most challenging course in Malaysia, it caters to golfers of all skill levels. It's just a 20-minute drive from Kuala Lumpur city center.

A serene maze of hills and lakes, KGPA (Civil Service Golf Club) offers a unique golfing experience amidst the chirping birds and squirrels of nature. Separated by a wall from KLGCC, KGPA is approximately a 10-minute drive from KLGCC.

The Championship Course, comprised of the Mountain Course and the Lake Course, stretches 6,887 meters. The gently undulating fairway leading to the Fort Green offers a unique golfing experience on each hole. Kuala Lumpur Golf Course is known for its expansive views, deep rough, and demanding fairways with out-of-bounds balls. Accurate tee shots are crucial for a successful finish.

The meticulously maintained greens vary in size, offering fast and precise ball roll, remaining in exceptional condition year-round. The Forest Course, at 2,446 meters, is the shortest of the three courses and is accessible only on foot, making it a haven for senior golfers. However, caution is advised. The undulating fairways create a strategic and captivating atmosphere for each hole, but also present opportunities for mistakes.

The three par-5s and three par-3s are masterpieces. The 174-meter 7th and 194-meter 8th holes on the Hill Course are particularly renowned, the latter earning the nickname "The Devil's Hole," a source of frustration for countless golfers. The par-3s in the latter half offer a series of 176-meter lake shots and 150-meter ravines, offering players the thrill of conquering the fairways.

The first hole on both the Mountain Course and the Lake Course is also a signature hole. The Mountain Course's first hole plays downhill from the elevated tee box onto a wide fairway, but the second shot requires another uphill approach from the middle of the fairway to a narrow green, making it quite challenging. A tee shot over the dogleg bend on the par-4 third hole offers a chance for par. While the Lake Course's first hole is a long par-4, its downhill slope shortens the actual distance, making it easier to hit the green in par. The undulating fairways offer stunning views.

Players at this course are primarily locals, with very few foreigners or tourists. The clubhouse itself resembles the White House.

The interior facilities are dated, and the clubhouse restaurant and restrooms are quite ordinary. There is a dedicated practice green for warming up before teeing off.

The driving range has an open-air restaurant. Recommended dishes include the chicken fried rice (RM11.50) or the chicken and seafood fried rice (RM16.50). If you don't like spicy food, be sure to let the cashier know in advance. The food service is incredibly slow (about 40 minutes from order to delivery).

The driving range was very crowded (locals). Prices: Non-members pay RM9 for 50 balls and RM16 for 100 balls.
