Located in the IOI Resort, a 30-minute drive from Kuala Lumpur, this course was redesigned by Ted Purslow in 2009 and transformed into an 18-hole course spanning 6,402 meters. It's also relatively close to the airport, offering convenient transportation. Surprisingly, the course was empty when I played at 1 p.m. on a Saturday.



The course is constructed using a sand cap method, which provides excellent drainage. The terrain is undulating, and the excavated rocks and small boulders have been cleverly resurfaced to create a beautiful landscape design.


The course exudes an exotic golfing atmosphere. The practice facilities are comprehensive, including a chipping area, putting green, and batting cage. There's also a pro shop and locker rooms.


Although the course fee is relatively high, the quality of the course is impeccable, the turf is well-maintained, and it offers convenient transportation and numerous tee boxes, making it suitable for all golfers.



The clubhouse is minimalist in design. While there is a swimming pool, gym, and tennis courts, as this is a public course, these amenities may incur additional fees. Adjacent to three hotels and a large shopping mall, it forms a family-friendly integrated resort.



The driving range is currently under renovation and unavailable. The course is of acceptable quality, and a tip of MYR 80+ is recommended for caddies. The latest 9-hole tee time is 5:00 PM. There are no lights and no night play.



Pros: Can accommodate individual golfers on weekdays and holidays.

Located just a 30-minute drive from the city center, the course is part of a large resort complex. The newly built clubhouse offers a modern design, and a Marriott hotel is only about five minutes away. A major shopping center is also nearby, making this an excellent choice for golfers visiting with family.
