Course Map & Strategy Guide

Mountain Course

Hole 1: Offering distant views of Asan Bay, this hole evokes a sense of freshness and openness. Teeing off from the elevated tee box—while gazing down upon the beautiful scenery—creates a truly magnificent and awe-inspiring experience.

Hole 2: A refreshing breeze cascades down from the natural forest valleys flanking the fairway on both the left and right sides. The greenside bunker is a semi-enclosed, protective hazard.

Hole 3: A tranquil hole where the green is nestled between the surrounding valleys. Since the green is angled toward the 10 o'clock position, hitting a draw off the tee is the optimal strategy.

Hole 4: A downhill hole featuring a fairway that spans a pond situated behind the "Ip" hazard; the tee shot requires carrying over this pond.

Hole 5: A hole that requires carrying over a pond; the fairway is lower than the rough on both sides, creating a comfortable and inviting hitting environment.

Hole 6: A par-3 hole hidden within a valley; the shot must carry over a pond, adding to the difficulty. Hitting a fade off the tee is the preferred approach.

Hole 7: A hole characterized by rolling terrain and swaying birch trees, creating an air of mystery; the optimal tee shot position for this hole remains on the right side.

Hole 8: A highly strategic hole featuring a fairway that curves to the left and forks at the second landing area. The expansive views to both the left and right evoke the exhilarating sensation of standing at the very edge of a mountain ridge.

Hole 9: A long-distance hole surrounded by lush greenery, offering a pleasant and picturesque setting.

The Lake Course

Hole 1: The entire hole slopes downward, making it easy to judge the ball's landing zone and plan the line of attack.

Hole 2: A gently downhill hole with the green situated below a ridge; the optimal tee shot position is on the right side of the fairway, immediately adjacent to the sandy hazard.

Hole 3: The distant ridges and open fields stretching across the valley present a scene of tranquility and peace; a pond on the left side of the hole connects to the green via a small stream, offering beautiful scenery.

Hole 4: A dogleg-right hole leading into the valley and bordering a natural pine forest; a stream on the left flows like a small waterfall, and—combined with the surrounding birch grove—further enhances the scenic beauty from the tee box.

Hole 5: The tee box offers a magnificent panoramic view of the 5th hole, which is characterized by numerous bunkers surrounding the green.

Hole 6: A very long Par-4. The ideal tee-shot landing zone lies on the left side of the fairway; playing a fade (right-to-left shot) for your second shot is the safest strategy for reaching the green.

Hole 7: A massive Par-3! The bunker situated to the left of the green serves as a "bail-out" bunker, so it is recommended to play a draw (left-to-right shot) off the tee.

Hole 8: The undulating rows of birch trees stand like a folded screen, creating a picturesque backdrop.

Hole 9: The green is encircled by bunkers and a pond; it is recommended to play a draw off the tee to carry the bunker on the left side.

The Rock Course

Hole 1: A scenic hole offering a comfortable tee shot, allowing you to simultaneously admire the distant views of Lake Asan.

Hole 2: A downhill, left dogleg hole that curves around a pond; precise directional control is required to accurately place the ball within the designated landing zone.

Hole 3: The longest uphill Par-4 on the Rock Course, featuring a green that appears to soar straight into the clouds.

Hole 4: The tee box is situated at the highest point of the Rock Course, offering panoramic views of Lake Asan and a clear, unobstructed view of the entire quarry below.

Hole 5: The fairway winds its way through a rocky valley. The inviting green nestles amidst rugged rock formations and a flowing stream, creating a striking contrast against the surrounding jagged cliffs.

Hole 6: A downhill hole featuring a wide pond along the right side of the fairway. With bunkers and water hazards guarding the right flank, a tee shot drifting too far to the right makes it extremely difficult to save par.

Hole 7: An uphill, right dogleg hole—rated as the most difficult hole on the course (Handicap Index 1).

Hole 8: A downhill hole. To secure a steady par, your mid-iron approach shot requires both boldness and precision. It is recommended to strategically utilize the small mound located to the left of the green when playing your tee shot.

Hole 9: The direction of your tee shot is absolutely critical for saving par on this final hole of the round.
