In 1995, Jungmun Golf Club hosted Johnnie Walker Skins Game Contest, in which World Golf No. 1 Gregory Norman and Vijay Singh joined. Then in Nov. 2004, it served as the host course for New South Korea Golf Tournament, which was the first session ever held in Asia by US PGA Pro Circuit and had 35 world professional golfers and 3 South Korean professional golfers participating in.
