[Tomakomai Golf Resort 72 Emina Golf Club] Approximately 20 minutes from New Chitose Airport. With four courses and 72 holes, it's one of the largest-scale golf clubs in Japan. The real joy of golf can be encountered here on courses for players of all levels, surrounded by the magnificent nature of Hokkaido. The club also serves as the venue of the PGA AXA Ladies' Golf Tournament.
[Rusutsu Resort Golf 72 Tower Course] Renowned professional golfer Ozaki Masashi, designed this course, which features natural, flowing undulations. This is an 18 holes (9 playable at night) golf course with total fairway of 6,747 yards and Par 72.
[Rusutsu Resort Golf 72 Izumikawa Course] The 18 holes par 72 Izumikawa Course which is designed by Nobumitsu Yuhara, is low-lying, set amidst breathtaking natural scenery. This course plays relatively short with its 6326 yards of fairway and is ideally suited for beginners, however there are numerous challenges which may test even expert golfers.
[ANA Crowne Plaza Chitose]ANA Crowne Plaza Chitose is in the centre of Chitose just 15 minutes by taxi from New Chitose Airport. We're 7 minutes’ walk from JR Chitose rail station, where you can reach Sapporo, Hokkaido's capital, in 30 minutes. This is golfing country and you'll find 30 golf courses within half an hour's drive.
[Rusutsu Resort Hotel & Convention]At Rusutsu Resort Hotel & Convention, the resort offers 5 various kinds of accommodation type from basic twin room to luxury rooms. The rooms have a flat-screen TV. [Jozankei Onsen] 2,400,000 people visit the Jozankei Onsen (Hot Springs), one of the most popular hot spring districts in Hokkaido. A big attraction is its proximity to Sapporo–the hot springs are less than an hour’s drive south from the center of the city. Jozankei is also famous for its scenic beauty. Visitors will be treated to picturesque views during every season at Shiraito Fall, Yunotaki and the Pool of Maizuru.
[The Hoheikyo Dam]The dam was built in 1972. It is one of rare dams that only 2 dams were built in the method of construction called Arch-type Concrete Dam in Hokkaido. Speaking of rare things, there is one more thing. Like Kurobe Dam in Toyama, electric buses are operated by consideration to environment. Therefore general cars cannot reach to the dam. In order to go to the dam, tourists must change electric buses at a parking lot, or the tourists must go to the dam on foot.
[Nishikibashi bridge and Maizuru no Toro water pool] Deep pool near the Nishikibashi Bridge over the Toyohiragawa River running through the town of Jozankei hot springs. In autumn, you can enjoy breathtaking views of brilliantly colored beautiful autumn leaves and trees overhanging from both sides of the river shores, reflected on the quiet surface of the river.
[Shiraito no Taki] is a small waterfall, where water coming back from the “Jozankei power plant,” the oldest hydroelectric power plant operated in Hokkaido, falls down. From early summer when nature starts to intensely turn green until the season of autumn leaves, this is the popular spot where you can observe the beauty of the waterfall, showing different expressions as the seasons change.
