The over 40 degree temperature in mainland
China makes nobody escape the heat, however Baigolf does have a good plan for
you, a golf journey to the healing place for heart and mind, that is, the Nasu
Plateau. During July and August, the temperature is always below 30 degree in
Nasu, the breath taking view of nature, cool breeze, and the refreshing hot
spring, as well as the wonderful golf course awaits you in here. The leaves
turn red following the season of September and October, what you are going to
see is the very plateau with scarlet trees dancing under the sunshine. The Nasu
Plateau and its astonishing view will only cost you an hour or two of driving.
Nasu International Country Club offers a
gentlehood course with 50 years' history. It was co-designed by Asami Midorizo
and Tomizawa Seizo, who had designed many famous courses in Japan. The course
boasts flat fairways and gently undulating greens, which adds to the difficulty
of the course. At the 10th hole, with a perfect first shot from tee ground,
golfers may get the ball to the green with two shots. However, bunkers are laid
out at the left and right sides of the green, therefore, to have a grasp of
direction and distance control is of great importance so as to successfully get
balls on the green and score high.
With a total area of 1.45 million square
meters, Horai Country Club offers a championship course amidst the forest.
Designed by Robert von Hagge, it's a western style course with many dogleg holes,
water hazards of various sizes and diverse bunkers, which reveal the profoundly
strategical connotation of the course. Particularly, the greens are quite
challenging and require accurate putters to get balls into the hole. Besides,
the 11th hole has a floating-island green and golfers will fully enjoy the
excitement of long shots.
